Overview
Kokrajhar Medical College and Hospital (KMCH), was formally inaugurated and dedicated to the nation by Honorable Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi on 14th April, 2023, is situated at Kokrajhar, the Head Quarter of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) in Assam. The college is located at Besorgaon nearly 10 km away from the heart of the city. The Medical College is affiliated to the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati. National Medical Commission (NMC) inspected KMCH on 31/01/2023 and granted permission for admission of 100 students every year on 22/02/2023.
Since the inception, KMCH is providing comprehensive and holistic education to its students, quality healthcare and research opportunities in the Northeast India.
