About the department:

The Department of Forensic Medicine Kokrajhar Medical College & Hospital is an important department providing autopsy, medico-legal works and undergraduate teaching. The department currently engages in a variety of teaching, training, and research activities. It performs medical-legal autopsies, offers forensic medicine services, and works on court-related projects. The department is providing expert opinions in cases that have been referred by courts, the State Human Rights Commission, the CBI, the Crime Branch, the Assam Police, and other investigating authorities.
