About the department:

The department Pharmacology is housed in the beautiful Academic Building of Kokrajhar Medical College. Thedepartment aims at imparting undergraduate and postgraduate trainings. Moreover, it also aims at teaching to undergraduates of BDS, BSc Nursing, Paramedicals in future. Presently department is energised by five highly qualified teachers to impart quality education to the students. The department is equipped with student laboratories of pharmacology, neuropharmacology, biotechnology and research laboratory. There is a library facility having textbooks and reference books of Pharmacology and Pharmaceuticals. The museum of the department is equipped with history of medicine, locally available various traditional medicinal plants, poisons, charts and photographs.
